Lori Perez, LAc.
Affiliates Team Leader
Lori has practiced clinical Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Acupuncture for 30 years. Practitioner of Animal TCM and Acupressure for 10 years.
Her passion is the practice, study and implementation of Animal Acupressure and TCM in the rehabilitation of equines.
- Lori graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Master of Science Degree in East Asian and Oriental Medicine from Pacific College, San Diego Campus.
- Colorado State Licensed and Nationally Board Certified Acupuncturist (NCCAOM)
- Master of The 8 Branches of TCM, acupuncture and moxibustion, nutritional and herbal energetics, Master of Taoist Feng Shui, body work (acupressure, Tui Na, cupping, gwa sha), Tai Chi, Qi Gong, astrology and cosmetology (CO state license.)
- Certified 4 level Equine Assisted Activities Facilitator and Certified Electro-Equiscope Practitioner.
- Graduate of Tallgrass Animal Acupressure Institute, Lori has completed over 300 hours of training in both Equine and Canine Animal Acupressure and continues to collaborate directly with the founders of The Tallgrass Animal Acupressure Resources, Nancy Zidonis and Amy Snow. Together they continue the commitment to support access and best practices in Animal TCM modalities.
Lori and Peter Perez are owners of Crowning Touch Clinics, Crowning Touch Healing Arts Center, Parker CO and CT at The Ranch / Coaching through Horses in Black Forest, CO. Crowning Touch Clinics has been awarded and acknowledged as a Center of Excellence.
CT@The Ranch offers facilitation in animal assisted activities/ learning for allied healthcare providers, animal practitioners, therapists, equine and canine professionals, animal owners and enthusiasts.
Their 501(c)(3), Medicine Meadow Healing Herd provides sanctuary and rehabilitation to rescued equines partnering with our participants for a mutually beneficial healing journey in our hands-on retreats programs.
Lori continues to study the healing arts and share The Wisdom of TCM for all those interested in ethical practices and animal welfare.
De Hufford, RN, NBCAAM Practitioner

De completed her Equine acupressure studies this summer and has successfully completed her
NBCAAM board certified certification in Equine Acupressure this fall!
De is a retired RN and is well versed in Equine endurance and Canine agility specialties. She brings to the team a balance of western and eastern approaches to both equine and canine wellness! De is currently preparing to take her canine boards and will be supporting Team Tallgrass as a dual species certified practitioner!
De will be offering both Equine and Canine services in Wyoming, Colorado and Nebraska with an emphasis on public education.
Jill Golgosky, BS, CVT, CCRT
Team Leader & Practitioner
Jill is a Certified Small Animal and Equine Acupressure Practitioner through Tallgrass Animal Acupressure Institute. She is a graduate of Kent State University with a degree in Zoology. For twelve years Jill worked in the Aviculture department at Sea World in Ohio.
In 2008, she pursued a career in the veterinary field and became a registered veterinary technician and is currently employed at a specialty hospital in the internal medicine department. Jill is hopeful that in the future veterinary medicine will embrace both eastern and western medicine and feels when used in conjunction will provide unparalleled results.
In June 2016 Jill completed course work at the University of Tennessee and is a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP). She has a thriving practice in Ohio working with both dogs and horses.
Sam Namenyi, LMT, Equine Intern
Sam is a licensed massage therapist with a thriving private practice in Parker, CO. She specializes in cranial sacral therapy, manual lymphatic drainage, cupping and integrative massage.
As an Intern she will bring those skills to further her passion of connecting with horses! Sam has worked in Equine rescue and rehabilitation in Florida and Colorado.
She owns three horses and enjoys training in dressage and horsemanship.
Sam is actively studying the different hands-on modalities in equine bodywork. Her focus forward is to help horses and their humans lead a healthier and happier life!
Meg Wall, Equine Intern
Meg Wall has been working with Horses for 40 years! She has owned and operated Equine facilities in Alaska and Oklahoma with expertise in horse training, equitation, riding instruction and management of boarding facilities management. She assists Thorp Institute and Electro-Equiscope, by showing device owners in best practices for Equines and Humans. She owns and operates Royal Blue Gem Enterprises in Oklahoma with her husband and is in private practice as an experienced Equiscope technician.
